Quick Start Guide
The maemo Quick Start Guide is a good starting point for application developers to begin learning the maemo platform. The document gives a high level introduction of the maemo platform and the related maemo community in few pages. The guide is targeted for the maemo 4.0.x Chinook release but most of the contents are valid also for the earlier 3.x (Bora) and latest 4.1.x (Diablo) release.
For maemo Diablo release there is more detailed and comprehensive guide, maemo Diablo Reference Manual, that maemo developers are also recommended to read.
